Feral Cats of Bergen County

Feral Cats of Bergen County desperately needs funding in order to continue our efforts. We have been over our max capacity for a few months now, and currently have multiple cats we recently took in that have given birth. FCBC rescues cats of all ages and we do not base our intake on adoptability. We have many cats that other rescues may deem as "un-adoptable". We at FCBC do not believe any cat is un-adoptable. If we believe a cat would a better quality of life indoors, we would like them in. FCBC is a free-roam rescue, meaning that cats ONLY stay in cages initially after intake or when they are ill. This means that we often need donations to feed and provide veterinary care for cats that may spend the rest of their lives with us at the rescue.

Donations can make a significant impact in cat rescue. With more resources, FCBC can provide better care for the cats we take in, including proper nutrition, veterinary care, and living arrangements. Donations help us cover the costs of food, litter, and medical expenses, such as vaccinations and spay/neuter surgeries. With sufficient funding, we can also provide more enrichment activities for the cats, such as toys and play areas, which will further improve their quality of life and increase their chances of being adopted.

Ultimately, the impact of donations can mean the differences between life and death for these cats. With enough funding, we can continue our rescue efforts, provide more adequate care, and increase our chances of finding loving forever homes for these amazing cats. Donations are what allow FCBC to continue to do the important work of saving the lives of these animals and giving them the second chance they deserve.
