A wonderful community member posted the above post today into the Media Hometown Facebook Group. And Be The Joy was tagged more than once .. such a full circle moment since that very same Facebook group is where our journey for Joy began in December 2020. SO WE ARE ON IT!

For those that may not have known - TEN THOUSAND VILLAGES will be closing their Media location along with many of their other stores at the end of this month. Which means..we have a dedicated community member that left another job of 10 years to start there..losing his job.

Help us make a special surprise happen for this local community member who is about to lose his job after holding down the ship. This surprise will serve as a reminder that his hard work and dedication to our community has not gone unnoticed and hopefully relieve some of the stress as he starts a new journey for employment.

As I get more info on this wonderful gent I will add to this page & we will inform the community of our planned surprise date & time so all that helped make this happen & all that wish to be there to wrap him in love can attend and be a part of the joy!
