THE VINCENT PRIZE FELLOWSHIP

In honor of our namesake and her unapologetic embrace queerness, The Vincent Prize -- inaugurated in 2019 -- is intended for creators who identify as trans*, genderqueer, or gender nonconforming.

We are proud to be a trans-affirming organization committed to gender self-determination. We recognize that language evolves alongside understanding, and we use the term “trans* in its most inclusive sense, as an umbrella term encompassing transsexual, transgender, genderqueer, Two-Spirit people, and anyone whose gender identity or gender expression is nonconforming and/or different from their gender assigned at birth.

PLEASE GIVE GENEROUSLY so that we may expand support and increase the stipend amount for this Prize to help offset travel/materials expenses, essential for this group of gifted creators.
