Thank you for your consideration in making a donation to the Matthews HELP Center (MHC).  The mission of the MHC is to provide short-term crisis assistance to our neighbors in the Greater Matthews Community.  We serve residents residing within a 6-zip code service area by providing financial and non-financial assistance to families experiencing a recent crisis such as a job loss, reduced work hours or a medical crisis.

The Matthews HELP Center also has 2 programs that support its mission, our Backporch Treasures Thrift Boutique and My Backporch Treasures Online Thrift store. These stores are filled with items donated by our community including clothing, antiques & collectibles, shoes, handbags, decor and more. 

Donations are accepted M-Sat. from 9:00 - 2:00 pm. Thrift Store hours are M-Sat. 10:00 - 5:00 pm.
