Each year businesses partner with Adopt a Soldier to honor the families of veterans who, due to PTSD, lost the battle on the home front. Adopt A Soldier believes that all who served in the military, regardless of the circumstances of their death, deserve to be honored. The Teal Star Run affords the families of these unacknowledged & forgotten heroes the opportunity to hold their heads high, speak openly & proudly about their soldier with dignity & with respect due them.

Since 2020 almost $57,000 has been generated to fly families of the fallen soldiers to the event, as well as provide transportation, food, and housing for the weekend of the event. Proceeds from the Teal Star Run annually benefit the support of the 3 pillars of Americas freedom: our troops, veterans, and military families as advocates for change, support, and care in all phases of their journey. Adopt a Soldier has been able to provide aid with funeral preparations, funeral dinners, aiding family members with transportation to visitation and funeral. We would not be able to provide assistance to these families.
