Our Story: The First Flame

At the edge of a wild Iowa field, something sacred is taking root.

The Black Butterfly Temple is more than a nonprofit—it’s a movement to restore healing, connection, and personal power in a chaotic world. We are reclaiming our relationship to land, to purpose, and to one another through meditation, movement, ritual, art, and sacred sharing.

This $30,000 campaign launches our first official office—a space where our work becomes tangible, where we can host gatherings and begin welcoming the community into something new. It's the first physical bridge to a future many of us have only dreamed about.

This space will be used for:

Hosting all-inclusive healing retreats
Supporting families
Self-discovery classes
Creating jobs rooted in meaning, creativity, and connection
Offering local partnerships and accessible mental wellness support
