During the course of this adventure we are excited for you to get to know Valerie Quintanilla of Girl’s Gotta Drink Stefano and Elisabetta of Enoteca La Vite Turchese, and Sara Olocco, an Italian wine specialist from Piemonte whose second home is right here in New York.
Valerie is an American expat who relocated almost 8 years ago. Through her site, she now does tour and travel planning for visitors to Piedmont and other parts of Italy. We met Val in 2016, and it was during that first visit to Piemonte that we really started to take our wine studies seriously!
Stefano and Elisabetta of Enoteca La Vite Turcheseare Piedmont natives who realized their dream of opening their enoteca, right in the village of Barolo, a little more than 8 years ago.
Sara Olocco holds a degree in Food Culture and Communication at the prestigious SLOW FOOD University of Gastronomic Sciences in Bra, Italy and has experience working with the esteemed Bastianich Hospitality Group in NYC. She’s an expert in all things Italian wine, particularly off-the-beaten path native grape varieties and producers. We were fortunate to cross paths with Sara in NYC last fall, and her masterclasses are amongst the most engaging, informative, and fun we’ve attended!
