Let's Create an UNFORGETTABLE 5th Grade Year!

Hey 5th Grade Families!

This is it—the BIG year! We want our 5th graders to head off to middle school with amazing memories:

Legendary Pali Institute Science Camp Trip
A Whole Week of Graduation Celebrations
Customized Class T-Shirts
Shiny Yearbooks
Beautiful Graduation Ceremony

However, in order to pull off all the graduation week plans, and ensure that every 5th grader will be able to participate in the Pali trip, we need to raise at least $500 per student.

A handful of 5th grade parents have already started fundraising via afterschool pizza sales on Fridays and Wednesday morning recycling collections (thank you!!) … but that alone won’t cover it all.

Here’s the fun part: we want the kids to be the real drivers of fundraising. Think lemonade stands, bake sales, asking family, friends, neighbors or even local businesses to chip in! This isn’t just about raising money - it’s about giving our 5th graders a chance to flex their communication, teamwork, and sales skills (and maybe discover some hidden entrepreneurial talent!).

Or, perhaps, you have some extra cash available and you would simply prefer to just donate - that works too!!

If everyone pitches in, we can spread out the efforts and the cost so no single family is carrying the load. More importantly, our kids get the best final elementary school year ever. Let’s make this a group effort, full of creativity, laughter, and pride in what they accomplish.

¡Hola familias de quinto grado!

¡Este es el año! Queremos que nuestros estudiantes de 5º grado se vayan a la escuela intermedia con recuerdos increíbles:

Sin embargo, para llevar a cabo todos los planes de la semana de graduación y asegurar que cada estudiante de quinto grado pueda participar en el viaje a Pali, necesitamos recaudar al menos $500 por estudiante.

Un grupo de padres de quinto grado ya ha comenzado a recaudar fondos a través de ventas de pizza después de la escuela los viernes y colecciones de reciclaje los miércoles por la mañana (¡gracias!!) ... pero eso por sí solo no lo cubrirá todo.

Aquí está la parte divertida: Queremos que los niños sean los verdaderos impulsores de la recaudación de fondos. Piensa en puestos de limonada, ventas de pasteles, pedir a familiares, amigos, vecinos o incluso a negocios locales que colaboren. No se trata solo de recaudar dinero, sino de dar a nuestros alumnos de quinto grado la oportunidad de poner a prueba sus habilidades de comunicación, trabajo en equipo y ventas (¡y quizás descubrir algún talento emprendedor oculto!).

O, tal vez, tengas algo de dinero extra disponible y simplemente prefieras donar - ¡eso también funciona!

Si todos colaboran, podemos repartir los esfuerzos y el costo para que ninguna familia cargue con la carga. Más importante aún, nuestros hijos tendrán el mejor último año de primaria de todos los tiempos. Hagamos de esto un esfuerzo grupal, lleno de creatividad, risas y orgullo por lo que logran.

Это оно—ГОД! Мы хотим, чтобы наши пятиклассники отправились в среднюю школу с удивительными воспоминаниями:

Целая неделя празднований выпускного
Индивидуальные классные футболки
Блестящие ежегодники
расивое выпускное церемония

Тем не менее, для того чтобы осуществить все планы на выпускную неделю и обеспечить, чтобы каждый пятиклассник смог участвовать в поездке в Пали, нам нужно собрать как минимум 500 долларов с каждого студента.

Небольшое количество родителей из 5-го класса уже начали сбор средств через продажу пиццы после школы по пятницам и сбор вторичных материалов по средам утром (спасибо!!)... но этого недостаточно.

Вот интересная часть: Мы хотим, чтобы дети стали настоящими организаторами сборов средств. Представьте себе лимонадные киоски, продажу выпечки, просьбы к семье, друзьям, соседям или даже местным бизнесам помочь! Дело не только в сборе денег - это шанс для наших пятиклассников проявить свои навыки общения, командной работы и продаж (возможно, они даже откроют в себе скрытые предпринимательские таланты!).

Или, возможно, у вас есть лишние деньги, и вы просто предпочли бы сделать пожертвование — это тоже подойдет!!

Если все подключатся, мы сможем распределить усилия и затраты так, чтобы ни одна семья не несла всю нагрузку. Более того, наши дети получат лучший финальный год в начальной школе. Давайте сделаем это совместным делом, полным творчества, смеха и гордости за то, что они достигнут.

Давайте устроим нашим пятиклассникам прощание, которого они заслуживают!
