Donations to the Lebanon Food Pantry are gifts to our community. They provide much more than food. They give hope to our neighbors.

Lebanon Food Pantry, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.

Lebanon Food Pantry provides food assistance to individuals and families in need in Warren County, Ohio. We serve an average of 353 people weekly and offer three days of emergency food support, including non-perishable goods, fresh fruit and vegetables, frozen meat, personal hygiene items, and other household necessities.

We encourage families to visit once per month for as long as they need assistance, ensuring a continuous safety net for those in need. In 2023, the need for assistance increased by a staggering 64 percent.

In 2024, we have served 17,642 people from 5,156 households and provided 158,733 meals. That’s a 15 percent increase. On average, a family comes four times a year for assistance. 605 families came this year for the first time, highlighting the growing need for our services. Families struggling to make ends meet can use the food pantry to reduce their food expenses and save money for utilities and other bills.

The Lebanon Food Pantry relies on financial support and food donations from individuals, businesses, faith groups, and civic organizations.

Who receives food from the Lebanon Food Pantry?
Food insecurity does not strike all demographics equally. You may wonder what type of neighbors are most affected by poverty and who benefits from your generous donations. The following statistics come from information reported by neighbors when they are served at the Lebanon Food Pantry.

Age Demographics in 2024:
• 39% are children 0-17 years of age
• 53% are 18-59 years of age
• 8% are seniors aged 60+

Household Demographics in 2024:
• 3.27 average family size
• 60% have 1 - 3 people in household
• 35% have 4 - 6 people in household
• 5% have 7+ people in household
• 3.23 average visits per family

Lebanon Food Pantry was founded on September 17, 1985.

We are a Shared Harvest Food Bank Member and a United Way of Warren County Agency.

We operate as a collaboration of 12 local churches. We employ one part-time coordinator and rely on the generosity of dozens of community partners, hundreds of volunteers, and more than 200 financial supporters.
