Dear Friends, Family, and Community,

My name is Gavyn Bland-Orange, a 20-year-old from Seattle, WA, and I’m reaching out to ask for your support as I pursue my dream of playing football and furthering my education with the Roseville Lions in Daytona Beach, FL.

Throughout high school, I worked hard but was overlooked on the football field. Despite my efforts, I didn’t get the opportunity I hoped for — but I’m determined not to let that stop me. I graduated with a 2.8 GPA and have stayed focused on my goals, even through life’s challenges.

Losing my grandfather, my greatest supporter and role model, was a devastating blow. Since his passing, I haven’t had consistent male guidance. My father has been incarcerated and unable to be present in my life. My mother and extended family have done everything they can to support me, but as I step into manhood, I know how valuable this opportunity at Roseville University is for my growth both on and off the field.

This is my chance to chase my dreams, continue my education, and become the best version of myself. I’m asking my community to stand with me in this journey. Your support — whether financial, emotional, or through spreading the word — means the world to me. Every contribution brings me closer to my goal of joining the Roseville Lions and making my family and community proud.
