This conference focuses on sexual assault, intimate partner violence, stalking human trafficking, and abuse to highlight promising practices and emerging issues to effectively respond to these crimes in all of our communities.
This conference focuses on sexual assault, intimate partner violence, stalking, human trafficking and Justice for victims of abuse. We bring together law enforcement personnel, prosecutors, victim advocates, judges, parole and probation officers, rape crisis workers, health care professionals, faith community members, educators, researchers and others in this three-day conference highlighting promising practices and emerging issues to effectively respond to these crimes in all of our communities.
Crimes such as rape and sexual assault, domestic abuse, forced marriage, stalking, harassment, and digital crimes including cyber-flashing, revenge porn and up-skirting are taking place every day. Advancements have been made to tackle offences that disproportionately affect women and girls, but there are still too many instances of victims and survivors being let down.
Benefit from panel discussions and expert speakers. Hear innovative case studies of crimes against women and how the perpetrator was brought to justice.
A must attend for police, criminal justice, local authorities, education providers, health, housing, social care and the third sector, you’ll hear from a senior line up of experts and practitioners who will address the need to strengthen joint working between organizations to effectively address Violence Against Women Conference issues. Our expert speakers cover a range of issues and offer solutions that can be adapted and utilized in our communities.
