6.5 Giving Day

As we gear up for our 38th Annual Ben to the Shore Bike Tour, we’re asking our community to donate $6.50 - a nod to our 65-mile ride. 6.5 is a day of giving that supports a mission that goes far beyond the miles we ride.

At Families Behind the Badge Children’s Foundation, every dollar raised helps us support the families of fallen or critically injured first responders, provide vital funding for programs that build healthy connections between police officers and the children in the communities they serve, and provide emotional and mental health resources to first responders and their families.

Your $6.50 may seem like a small gift, but when we come together, it becomes something powerful. It helps us say thank you to those who protect us and we’re here for you to the families who sacrifice the most.
