This is our second year as the newest school in the Ellensburg School District and our Ida Nason PTO is working hard to engage and build a strong link between students, teachers, parents, and community members. The Second Annual Sunflower Festival scheduled for May 16th & 17th, 2024, will embody our mission statement which emphasizes outdoor learning in conjunction with the promotion of community education. The event will feature a variety of outdoor activities for the kids, including an obstacle course run, and a fundraiser dinner with a silent auction for kids and adults alike in the evening. The proceeds from the fundraiser will help fund classroom enrichment activities, teacher-led projects, field trips, playground equipment, beautification of school grounds and so much more.

Unfortunately, with funding such as it is, we would not be able to ensure that these things are available to all our students next year without the generous support of our community network. As an essential member of this network, we are asking you to consider purchasing tickets to our fundraiser dinner and silent auction which will begin at 6pm on May 17th at Ida Nason.
