PALW SHOP WITH A COP EVENT

The Police Athletic League of Wilmington (PALW), in partnership with the Wilmington Police Department, and Macy’s is proud to host our annual Shop-With-A-Cop program, a cherished holiday tradition that brings joy and mentorship to local youth while strengthening bonds between our young people and law enforcement.

This year, we are seeking your support as a $1,500 Sponsor to help cover the cost of gift cards for the students and lunch for all participants. Your sponsorship will directly support Wilmington youth in experiencing the joy of giving, while promoting positive relationships with public safety officers who serve our community.

Each year, officers accompany selected students on a shopping trip to Macy’s, helping them purchase gifts for their loved ones while teaching valuable lessons in budgeting, decision-making, and generosity. The experience concludes with a shared lunch, offering meaningful time for conversation, relationship building and mentorship that often leaves a lasting impact on both the youth and officers.

Your generosity will be recognized on PALW’s social media, newsletter, website, and in our year-end community impact report. Most importantly, your contribution will make a real difference in the lives of young people during the holiday season.
