Needs are extremely urgent in the mountains of North Carolina. It's a race against winter to get the people of Appalachia into dignified, WARM dwellings before the chill of winter returns and doesn't leave. Already there have been many deaths due to the cold, babies and children freezing to death in the night, devasting already hurt families. 

Appalachia Is Forever has negotiated wholesale pricing on durable, livable canvas tents and yurts. This is more like a small hut than a tent, and it does not require permits. (Yay!)

Each donation will help someone who has lost everything regain a warm place to sleep and build life back. More importantly, it saves lives. 

You can donate whatever amount you'd like, but there are also options to donate a specific amount for individual tents, wood-burning stoves, 

Our goal is to raise $100,000 by the end of the year to help hurricane survivors go into the new year with hope for their lives ahead.
