End of Year Membership Drive

Aesop's Sound Fables is a non-for-profit music collective that writes and performs semi-improvised soundtracks to silent films and original theater. We also maintain a newsletter about independent artists in NYC and organize events for the community.

This past year we paid out over $8,000 to independent artists. We performed and organized in 21 interdisciplinary arts events primarily in New York City and the northeast United States. We helped support dozens of artists and organizers in the region and provided low-cost, accessible events for the community.

We are running this end of year membership drive to help prepare for the coming year, during which we hope to increase pay for artists, increase the number of artists we support, and expand our reach to more members of the community. If you would like to make a one-time contribution of $30 or more, we will mail you a copy of our quarterly newsletter zine through the coming year and provide you with access to exclusive content through Substack.
