Please abide by the following guidelines:

* Please be respectful of neighbors when coming in and out of the Ashram.

* Outside the Ashram gate and in the Jyoti parking lot will be a wonderful place to catch up with fellow devotees.

* The Ashram gate will be opened at 4:45 pm. To avoid interruption during event, gates close at 5:15 pm.

* In order to create a reverent atmosphere, please practice Mouna (silence) while inside Swamiji’s Ashram grounds.

* Turn off cell phones before entering the Satsanga Hall.

* Walking around the Ashram garden is not permitted until further notice.

Q: Where should I park?

A: You can park in the parking lot of 6020 SW 74th Ave. The ashram is located diagonally across the street from there.

Q: What days will events be held?

A: Events and festivities are held on Saturdays only. We will be sure to notify everyone of any additional upcoming events.

Q: How many guests are allowed to attend per session?

A: 40 guests per session, first come first served

Q: Can I meet with Swamiji or touch His feet?

A: Not at this time. For now, we are practicing safe distancing for Swamiji.

Q: What is the entry fee?

A: While there is no entry fee for our events, a donation of $30 is recommended in order to help cover monthly expenses for the both Swamiji and the ashram. However, we understand everyone has their own unique financial limitations and will never turn anyone away from our events based on their ability to donate. We welcome everyone to join us in support of Swamiji and His life-giving mission without any financial obligation.

Q: Can I donate?

A: Yes, of course. There will be a place when you order your ticket to make an additional donation (whether you can attend or not). Cash and check donations can also be offered at the door. Checks should be made out to “Swami Jyotirmayananda.” On the "MEMO" line, please write "GIFT".

Q: Will I be able to buy books or magazines?

A: Yes, we offer a selection of Swamiji's books and magazines in the reception area outside the Satsanga Hall for sale. We accept cash, credit card and a selection of virtual forms of payment.

Q: Can I offer flowers for meditation?

A: Yes, you can bring flowers (preferably unscented). Your flowers can be offered on the table in front of Swamiji's podium when you enter.

Q: Will there be kumkum Blessings and/or Prasad?

A: No kumkum. Prasad will be served after Swamiji finishes speaking.

Q: What days can I visit the Ashram?

A: Only on the days of organized events, such as the Meditation & Pranayama class, and festivities.

Q: Is the ashram be open for festivities?

A: Yes. All classes and festivities will be celebrated on Saturdays, except for Navaratri, which is celebrated for 9 evenings in late September/early October.
