At TAG, our mission is to prepare young people for a bright, happy, and successful future by equipping them with the essential life skills they need to thrive—not just in school, but in life. We go beyond traditional academics by offering engaging workshops, interactive classes, and innovative materials that empower students to master their emotions, build unshakable confidence, solve problems creatively, and navigate personal and professional relationships with clarity. EXCITEDLY! Go See One Now.
By filling the gap left by traditional education, TAG ensures that every young person we serve is ready to embrace life's challenges with grace and positivity. We educate for life, in every way that matters. We get kids to feel good about themselves.
TAG is a newly founded non profit in San Ramon, California. I created TAG to ensure that no young person has to face life’s challenges unprepared. Every workshop, every book, every tool we offer is designed to empower students to succeed not only academically but in life itself. As a student who earned A’s and B’s and graduated from a top university with honors, I thought I was set for life. But once I stepped into the real world, I quickly realized I wasn’t prepared. I didn’t know how to manage my emotions, handle difficult situations, or build the confidence I needed to thrive. It wasn’t until I became a life coach that I discovered the missing pieces, and that’s when I decided to found The Achievement Group (TAG). And I LOVE seeing our clients succeed! Go watch From Hopeless to All A’s now.
Today’s young people are facing an unprecedented set of challenges that threaten their well-being, their academic success, and their future. In a world dominated by social media, they’re constantly bombarded with unrealistic expectations and negative comparisons that erode their self-esteem. Peer pressure is at an all-time high, pushing kids to conform in ways that often lead them away from their true selves.
Many children are struggling with intense emotions like anger and anxiety, often feeling overwhelmed and isolated. These emotional struggles not only affect their mental health but also contribute to poor performance in school, as they find it difficult to concentrate and stay motivated. As they internalize these pressures, many young people are left feeling inadequate, misunderstood, and hopeless. We give them hope: See these 2nd graders groove to rap with uplifting affirmations.
We are working on meritable workshops to educate the youth and their families on "Easier Ways to Emotional Mastery." This workshop is designed to help participants prevent and correct problems. These interactive workshops are tailored to help young people and their families:
-Communicate More Effectively: Learn how to express feelings and needs in a healthy, constructive way, leading to better understanding and stronger relationships.
-Enhance Emotional Awareness: Develop the skills to recognize and understand emotions, both in themselves and in others.
-Manage Anger Constructively: Explore techniques for managing anger and frustration without resorting to physical confrontation.Often, when I show back up at a school, kids run up to me to report their success. See this child’s wonderful testimony here.
-Boost Academic Performance: Understand the connection between emotional mastery and improved focus, motivation, and success in school.
Build Unstoppable Confidence: Cultivate a powerful sense of self-worth and confidence, empowering participants to stand up for themselves and pursue their goals.
-Prepare for a Bright, Happy Future: Equip participants with the emotional tools needed to navigate life’s challenges and achieve lasting success.
We are also working towards partnering with schools to offer after school programs surrounding
social & emotional mastery. Which is a program many schools lack. Check out this Principal's success story here.
The impact of TAG is working to empower teachers to be able to manage their classrooms, decreasing violent tendencies in bullies, teaching kids to have fun while learning with confidence to put full effort in tests and assignments. See some stunning results here.
I met this kid in the hallway of an elementary school in an underserved community. He was very upset from the incident that happened earlier. He’d been fighting every day. Sadly, he’d already been kicked out of three other schools, and he was only nine.
I started a conversation with him and discovered that he had some untapped musical gifts. I used that along with some powerful Emotional Mastery techniques with him. A month later, I received this heartwarming video message from him. He said,
“Hey Ms. Jackson, shout out! What you did Ms. Jackson, now, I listened to what you said, “Don’t be fighting, listen, do good in school. Get an education. Like, I know what you are talking about now… You’ve been good to me. You’ve been calm. I learned to be respectful and to be what I’m supposed to be and not what I’m NOT supposed to be.”
Can you imagine how deeply fulfilling that is for me?
I just got a happy report from his mother. She said, “Everybody is starting to listen to him now. He volunteers for everything.” ” He’s learned to sit down and accept his own faults. He’s not putting his hands on anyone. I am happier and so is he!”
Experience has taught me that I have a gift for reaching kids even when nothing else works. And that is why I am the best person to do this.
Over the next 2 years, TAG will be working on getting its workshop programs in all schools within California and abroad, so that kids will continue to have education for life. We will recruit and train 2-5 youth per school as uniformed TAG ambassadors to be positive role models at their school and passing out TAG pamphlets to the struggling students who need to be reminded of how emotional mastery is important. We will also conduct yearly ceremonies to honor challenged students who have gone to TAG workshops and showed most improvement socially and academically.
With you and TAG working together in a partnership we will be able to accomplish these goals. We can help many more students like that nine year old happier kid.
This is why it is important to have partners like you. That’s why I am asking you to consider a gift of
$1000, $500, $200, $100
Sincerely,
