Youth Programs

We are a tiny 501c3 and are getting everything ready to launch our Youth Urban Farm and Bike Repair program next year. We have 4 hunger relief programs and serve the community in the tristate area. We get a lot of in-kind donations from our company supporters but very little monetary help, which is why we are here asking for help in any way you can! 100% of contributions goes towards our hunger relief programs, so far we have filled the blessing boxes with over 17,000 food items (so close to 20,000! unbelievable!), 1500 meals, given away over 1000 hygiene kits and have given 5 Emergency Veteran Boxes to 5 families that were involved in a house fire/ injury. We do a lot with what we get, but we need money for things like gas to drive the car to the blessing boxes, oil when we cook food, meat, condiments.
The Programs will be free for the students serving low income, mostly minority students between 8-17
Here are several ways you can donate to us and since we are so super small, every dollar makes a difference:
1. Donate a monetary amount: Venmo @CibusM | Cibus Mission or Paypal @CibusMission
2. Donate Microsoft Bing Reward Points (every 1000 points is $1) Here is how on a Youtube short I made: https://youtu.be/WmBP0O5RGN8
3. Volunteer with us through the Benevity Platform (like if you work at Kohls or Macys or a whole bunch of others, I don't know they have a program called dollars for doers where the corporation gives money for every hour you volunteer).
4. Become a Wedding Officiant! -- https://cibusmission.org/servelove you can get a certificate, and those contributions go towards our hunger relief programs, it is approved in most states (not Virginia).
5. Walmart Registry: Walmart Spark Good | Walmart.com and search for "Cibus Mission" and we have a plethora of items we need for the Youth Programs
6. If you know any construction companies that would like to donate material for the shed and picnic area that we will have, we got a few places to donate some plywood, but not enough, we have a whole list of things we need!
