Today, thousands of families are facing eviction right in our own backyard and help can't come fast enough.

Together, we can make a difference by joining forces to help raise funds to keep families devastated by the pandemic in their homes.

Since 1979, the Matthews HELP Center has been working to stop the cycle of homelessness before it begins. We work to improve the quality of life for thousands of residents in the Greater Matthews and surrounding communities. Each day we receive inquiries from applicants requesting financial assistance for rent, utilities, food, clothing and transportation. We service residents in 5 zip code areas: 28104(Stallings/Matthews), 28105 (Matthews); 28226, 28270 (Charlotte); 28079 (Indian Trail). These are our neighbors, families and friends.

Our social work team partners with each of our clients to provide assistance and education in a calm, respectful and supportive manner to help alleviate eviction, utility shut-offs and more. They also work to provide budget assistance, education and resources to help them regain financial stability and resolve their crisis. We hope you will join us.
