This summer, July 8-19, CHA Ballet will host two weeks of Making Moves Summer Camp for 80 students from across the city. This camp is offered to students at no charge and all lunches, snacks are provided. Make a donation today to help us provide a healthy lunch and snack each day!

This one-week summer program at CHA Ballet is offered to students who participate in the after-school Making Moves Program during the school year, and serves grades 4-7 (ages 8-13). Each week we will have students participating from several Boys & Girls Club locations, the Bethlehem Center, and Girls of Power.

Students all take classes in ballet, hip hop, contemporary, dance history, and African dance. The goal is to provide a more in-depth dance experience that helps demystify the artform and the dance studio. Transportation is provided to and from their community centers each day free of charge.

This program uses dance as a vehicle for developing self-esteem, creative expression, and critical thinking skills for deserving youth and will address each student's well-being in a supportive and collaborative environment.
