WHAT: Cajun Navy Relief has responded to our neighbors to the West following Hurricane Harvey and Tropical Storm Imelda and to the East, tornadoes in Mississippi, Texas and Kentucky, Hurricanes Matthew and Florence in the Carolinas; Irma, Michael, Sally, Ian, Nicole in Florida, and most recently Hurricane Helene in North Carolina. Sadly, we have also remained busy in our own state over the past 2 years with several devastating storms, Laura, Delta, Zeta and Ida ravaging the entire southern coast of Louisiana.

WHY: Your willingness to volunteer and donate allows us to have the proper tools to respond when needed. With your generous support, we look forward to continuing to share our Cajun kindness, through rescues and immediate relief.

WHO: Cajun Culture has always been about neighbors helping neighbors. Cajun Navy Relief emerged as a result of a historical rainfall that began in the Baton Rouge area in August, 2016, but affected over 12 parishes, displacing thousands of residents. Little did we know our Facebook page and band of volunteers would become such a needed resource.
