Writing Heals Giving Tuesday

Your generous donation will help fund our new “Writing Heals” program, which will pay family members on how to craft personal, positive narratives to honor their relatives. Families will be able to tell their own stories about victims who are too often forgotten by the traditional media. 

It's in part possible from the Independence Public Media Foundation, which believed in our mission to highlight underrepresented voices. 

Participants will be paid to write the stories, and we will train them to continue writing for pay about other victims should they choose to do so. Families will also have access to professional photography and videography to further honor their loved ones.
