Co-op Dayton organizes community movement and incubates cooperative enterprise for a just local economy. We're building economic democracy—where workers have decision-making power, communities control local assets, and prosperity is shared instead of concentrated in the hands of a few.

2025 was a year of seeds taking root:

We purchased a building for Westside Makerspace, ending a 3-year search and putting a community asset under community control. We convened 50+ farmers exploring cooperative solutions. We guided 14 people across 6 CoOwn projects building democratic enterprises. Gem City Market welcomed 2 new worker-owners to their board.

This happened because you sowed seeds of solidarity with our community.

We've raised $6,000 toward our $12,000 goal. We're halfway there, with 6 weeks left to close the gap by December 31st.
