72nd Anniversary Celebration
Hello W'eh Shalom
Hey family, how time flies. We are now celebrating our 72nd Anniversary. Coming up to the 8th fire anniversary that changed our lives forever. We have survived, but not alone. We thank you all for your continued support. In all this time we have survived, not only the aftermath of the fire, but many many challenges. There have been challenges with the Department of buildings, in building and rebuilding scaffolding around the property. Attempted theft of our beloved Torah Scrolls. City fines and attempted liens. Demolition and city tax fees.
And still we rise. We have cleared our name in the City annals. We have paid off fines we never knew we had. We are a 501c3 determined organization and all donations are tax deductible. We have visited and shared spaces with other welcoming congregations. We have made new friends and strengthened current relationships all in the name of The Most High. For the past 3+ years we have found a temporary space to congregate, but there is no place like home.
So now we are moving into the next phase the process. Preparing a new RFP, interviewing developers and potential owners reps to prepare us for our rebuild. We still need help. We have to raise funds not just to continue to exist in our current space but to contribute to our portion of the rebuild. Our goal this year to raise $100,000. This will keep us afloat and add to our portion of what is required just for rezoning and filing fees. All your donations have been appreciated and put to good use and we thank you for the past, present and future donations.
