Campbellsport Fire Department

In 1904, the residents of the Village of Campbellsport organized a volunteer fire department and the first officers were elected. One week later, the constitution and by-laws were voted on and the Campbellsport Volunteer Fire Department was underway. The Campbellsport Volunteer Fire Department is a team of professionals that serve with excellence, dedication, and pride. The members of the Campbellsport Volunteer Fire Department are committed to saving lives, protecting property, and improving the quality of life for our residents and visitors, by providing rapid and reliable services in all emergency and non-emergency activities.

Members of the Campbellsport Volunteer Fire Department excel as firefighters and/or EMT’s. The department currently provides EMS service at the Advanced EMT level effective May 7th 2012. In addition the department and members trained to provide specialized rescue as a Rapid Intervention Team, Confined Space Rescue Team, a Dive Team and the department has its own Honor Guard. The single location station currently houses nine fire trucks, two ambulances, and a 20 foot trailer for off road rescue and fires.

The Campbellsport Fire Dept. proudly serves an area of approximately 10,000 residents and covers the Village of Campbellsport, Town of Ashford, Town of Auburn, and Town of Osceola. Ambulance services also cover the Village and Township of Eden. In August of 2010 the Campbellsport Fire Department along with Fond du Lac County became part of the statewide Mutual Aid Box Alarm System (MABAS – Division 120).
