Taco Fundraiser for Mecca

Children Mending Hearts powers the Jordan Downs Center to provide a space of empathy and support for the residents of Watts, through the good and the bad. And this means reaching out to our wider community of empathy rockstars when one of us is in need.

Mecca Brown was always a joy when he came to the Jordan Downs Center. At only three years old, he came to the Center to spend time at our programs with his older siblings. He was a bright spot for all who interacted with him.

Over the 4th of July holiday, Mecca passed in a tragic accident. His family is now running a fundraiser to help raise funds for his services. They will be selling tacos in hopes of raising these funds.

We would greatly appreciate it if you could help support their efforts. 100% of all funds raised will be given directly to the funereal service provider.
