New Works Fund

Founded in 2017 by board member and visionary Deborah H. Downey, the New Works Fund supports new and restaged works by contemporary choreographers and composers.  Each season we are able to offer our audiences something fresh, daring, and thought-provoking. The New Works Fund has supported the creation of bold, original ballets like Book of Stones, Chant, and Prufrock, and the re-staging of Alejandro Cerrudo’s glorious Extremely Close. 

With exclusive access throughout the year, members of the New Works Fund meet and get to discuss the works of  guest choreographers and artists as they witness the creative process in the studio from concept to rehearsal to stage.  Don’t just support a premiere, witness its creation.
