Summer Woodworking Camp 2
Wednesday 10:00 AM - Friday 3:00 PM EDT
Wednesday, July 27th through Friday, July 29th. 10am-3pm. Ages 6-11 Free lunch is available for campers upon request. Camp takes place indoors in the MCL Makerspace and outdoors in the MCL backyard. Please read and agree to our Covid-19 Statement before registering for this camp.
Woodworking 2 enables campers to safely explore the construction of wooden projects using a variety of attachment techniques including screws, nails, and basic joinery. Participants gain skills in accurate measurement, drilling holes, using hand tools to cut wood to size, and creating a three dimensional object from a two dimensional drawing. Campers will make their own projects to take home and practice collaborating with others. Safety equipment is provided.
July 27th-29th, 10am-3pm. Ages 6-11. Woodworking 1 is not required for participating in Woodworking 2. Please read and agree to our Covid-19 Statement before registering for this camp.
