Twenty years ago National Geographic called us "The worm capital of the world." We are looking to continue our yearly Wiscasset Wormfest to celebrate this unique heritage, our community, and what it means to be from this beautiful Midcoast town.

This year we are celebrating BIGGER! We are continuing building our History Museum, More FREE family activities, Chewonki touch tank learning area, more vendors-including food trucks, crafters and local non-profits, and new this year Wiscasset Wormfest Scholarships* to up to (3) WMHS 2025 seniors. Your donation helps with our continued growth of helping build a fun day celebrating Wiscasset heritage and allows us to give back to our community.

*Scholarships will go to those students graduating from WMHS with the most community service hours. Our committee believes volunteering and helping build a stronger community is something important as adults, but is just as important for our youth to value and to contribute in. This scholarship will NOT be based on needing to go to a post-secondary school. This scholarship is for our future recipient(s) to put towards continued learning, tools for the trade they are going into or whatever else they may need for a leg-up in their next chapter in life.
