The program features numerous works that address the philosophical and spiritual dimensions of human agency, as individuals navigate through darkness to discover truth and enlightenment. With compositions from as far away as Venezuela, China, Canada’s First Nations, and the Caribbean, to our own rich history including the namesake “Turn the World Around” from Harry Belafonte, our performance will reflect the power of personal resilience, introspection, and intellectual freedom in the face of these global influences.
