Camp Tappy Tails 2026

Have your kiddos spend their summer with dogs! The camp is meant to educate children on dog safety and the importance of dog rescue. By participating in the camp the children learn how to safely interact with the dogs (dog body language, dog safety, what to do if you see an unleashed dog, when to pet a dog and when not to), basic dog care and why rescue is important. Activities include daily lessons, crafts, dog baths, reading to dogs and spending lots of quality time with the resident dogs. 

 This year we will be splitting into two ages groups. Group 1 will be for campers going into grades 1-3 and group 2 will be for campers going into grades 4-6 in the fall. Group 1 will focus on basics of rescue and dogs and group 2 will be more focused on things like dog training and veterinary.  Each group will have 11 campers each week. 

Camps are for children entering grades 1st-6th in the fall. It will be held at TAP HQ (4620 Avocado blvd 91941) and will be 10am-2pm.  Campers will bring their own snacks/lunch. Spots are limited so each camper can only sign up for 1 week.

Week 1: July 6th – July 10th

Week 2: July 13th – July 17th

Week 3: July 20th – July 24th

Week 4: July 27th – July 31st

Camp is $375 per week- includes a shirt, a water bottle and a take home bundle that include 2 books about rescue dogs and an activity guide.
