The mission of the Texas School for the Deaf Foundation (TSDF) is to raise awareness and funds that fill the gap between the biennial budget allocated by the Texas Legislature to Texas School for the Deaf and the actual funding required to deliver exceptional educational programs to the deaf and hard of hearing children in Texas. With your support, we can enhance learning opportunities for children ranging from early childhood to 22 years of age.

This year's gala will be Friday, February 06, 2026 at the prestigious Austin Country Club.

Your generous support will directly influence the lives of more than 1,000 deaf and hard of hearing children, young adults and families in Texas. 

• 542 students attend the TSD campus in Austin.

• 58% of these students qualify for free and reduced lunch.

• 40% of them reside on campus and travel home on weekends.

• In addition, 7,000+ students receive services in their local school districts.
