About Senay

Senay Kenfe is a Long Beach native, artist, and community leader whose creativity and compassion have touched countless lives. For over 15 years, he has poured his gifts into uplifting others — blending art, music, entrepreneurship, and activism to make a lasting impact on our city.

As a photographer, musician, and writer, Senay has carried Long Beach’s voice onto global stages through collaborations with international artists and his work with the hip hop collective The Natives. He has showcased local talent, produced cultural events, and created platforms where young people can shine.

Beyond the arts, Senay has been a dedicated advocate for community empowerment and nonprofit service. He has worked alongside organizations such as the Arts Council for Long Beach and the April Parker Foundation, helping to expand access to arts education, support youth development, and strengthen neighborhood pride through public art and community projects.

Senay also believes in economic empowerment as a form of justice. He made national headlines when his investment in GameStop stock enabled him to purchase his family’s childhood building and secure housing for his mother. Instead of keeping this success to himself, Senay used his story to inspire others about financial literacy, investing, and building generational wealth.
