Help Keep Martha’s Vineyard Healthy: Support IHC in Uncertain Times

At Island Health Care (IHC), we believe everyone deserves access to high-quality, affordable health care, no matter their income or insurance status.

Unfortunately, our federal funding faces growing uncertainty, and we need your help to ensure critical health services remain available for our community.

IHC plays a vital role in supporting the Vineyard’s working families and small businesses. Many Islanders juggle multiple jobs to afford housing and basic needs, while local businesses—especially small ones—often can’t provide health insurance.

Without IHC, thousands of year-round residents could lose access to:

Primary & Preventive Care: Check-ups, chronic disease management, and early screenings for conditions like cancer and diabetes.

Behavioral Health Services: Mental health counseling, psychiatric care, and substance use disorder treatment, which are already in high demand.

Dental Care: Affordable oral health services, including cleanings, fillings, and emergency care at IHC’s new Dental Center.

Community Health Programs: Nutrition assistance, wellness programs, and care coordination that address food insecurity, transportation challenges, and more.

The health of Martha’s Vineyard depends on all of us. Together, we can keep IHC strong and growing, and ensure no one has to choose between medical care and making ends meet.
