Help Us Save Zombie – Emergency Vet Care for a Rescued Hen

This morning, we rescued a little hen we've named Zombie, and her survival is nothing short of a miracle.

She was found alone in the woods near a friend’s workplace, cold, wet, and badly injured. It appears she had been lost or abandoned, and she suffered a deep wound on her back, likely from an animal attack. There was no sign of a flock or coop nearby, just one scared little soul fighting to survive.

We rushed her to the vet, where she received immediate care for her injuries, infection, and pain. Zombie will need two full weeks of round-the-clock veterinary attention (at home) and medications. Despite the trauma she’s endured, the vet has called her “one tough cookie” and with your help, she’s expected to make a full recovery.

We're raising funds to cover the cost of her emergency medical care, ongoing treatment, and the healing sanctuary she now has with us. Every dollar donated goes directly to her recovery.
