A local business has agreed to match all donations up to $25,000. This would cover the remaining cost of repairs on the first home!

This Giving Tuesday we're trying to raise $10,000, why this goal? This is how much we raised just from community donations in three months to purchase the home. We want to see if we can do it in one week!

We purchased our first home in August and are currently repairing it to be sold at an affordable price. After completing these repairs through fundraising and other community support, WCHT will sell the home on the land for the structure's value, using the Housing Trust model to preserve the home as a permanently affordable home for the Junaluska neighborhood.

We are completely volunteer run so all donations go directly to paying for the repairs on our first home. This Tuesday, keep us in mind and save a little of that Black Friday money for your community because it could buy someone an affordable home! Visit our website to learn more about our plan.
