'25/'26 FVYC Season
Thank you for supporting the Flathead Valley Youth Chorus!
For the ‘25/’26 season, beyond our regular November and April concerts, Bear Grass Performing Arts is incredibly excited to host a landmark festival, bringing together renowned choral composers Jake Runestad and Katerina Gimon with an inter-generational collection of choral talent from across Montana. The youth chorus, area high school choirs, and Missoula’s esteemed choral ensemble “Dolce Canto” will have the special opportunity to workshop with Jake and Katerina, including singing the composers' own works. This weekend will culminate in a powerful finale performance featuring all choirs sharing the stage together and building community through song. Outside of our concerts, we will also be taking steps towards launching a second choral ensemble in the fall of 2026! To meet growing demand and deepen our impact, we plan to interview and select a second director in the fall, giving them the opportunity to join FVYC spring rehearsals and ensure cohesion between the two ensembles. This expansion will allow us to welcome even more young voices into our program, extending the joy and benefits of choral music to a wider community.
We sincerely hope you will join us at our events this season and witness firsthand the incredible growth and talent your generosity fosters. Your support is truly a gift as we endeavor to expand our reach and deepen our impact on the Flathead Valley, nurturing more young voices and enriching our community through the power of music.
