ISG Cares is a non-profit organization founded by the International Support Group (ISG). Our corporate office is located in Broward County, Florida, and our mission is to support and serve the communities in which we do business.

Unfortunately, Broward County, which is home to a significant population in South Florida, faces a deepening crisis as the number of homeless families continues to grow. Recent data reports that, of the 2,529 homeless individuals counted in the area, about 7% are families, and 11% of those experiencing homelessness are children under the age of 18. These numbers are exacerbated by the extreme lack of affordable housing, a primary cause of homelessness in the area, and the high cost of living, which places many families in precarious financial situations.

The importance of feeding homeless families goes far beyond just alleviating hunger. Regular, nutritious meals are critical for children's growth and well-being and can contribute significantly to a family’s stability. It can also offer parents the chance to focus on rebuilding their lives, whether by seeking employment or attending to other crucial responsibilities, without worrying about where their next meal will come from. Additionally, research has shown that comprehensive support, such as providing food and other essential services, can pave the way to lasting, positive outcomes for needy families.

Meet Kaydan Diaz. He is a compassionate ten-year-old and a fierce advocate for our community's less fortunate members. By supporting our Giving Tuesday campaign, you will be helping a fantastic group of Youth volunteers along with Kaydan, distribute hot meals to people experiencing food insecurity and homelessness. For just $10, you can provide a complete meal—including a drink and dessert to someone in need. The average meal at Chick-fil-A costs between $12 and $15, but with your donation, we can serve a hot meal to a few vulnerable people in our community.
