This December, Empire City Men's Chorus celebrated the holidays with sold-out performances of Absolute Joy—a powerful program that chose celebration as an act of resistance, community as our strength, and music as our voice.

For over 30 years, ECMC has been more than a chorus. We are a diverse brotherhood committed to musical excellence, social justice, and compassion. We embrace the marginalized, empower the disconnected, and elevate the human spirit through the transformative power of choral music.

But our work doesn't stop when the applause fades.

In March, we'll present the New York Premiere of The Gun Mass, confronting the epidemic of gun violence that claims nearly 50,000 American lives each year. In June, we'll close our season with Love Letters, celebrating male tenderness while writing letters of encouragement to incarcerated LGBTQ+ individuals worldwide.
