Fire Damage 2 - Help US Through the Winter...

Dear valued community and friends of C.R.E.E.E.D. and The Cascades (formerly The Inn at Shaker Mill Falls),

Unfortunately, our beautiful 200 year old historic Shaker guesthouse has been affected by a devastating fire.

On November 2nd, we had a beautiful community dinner honoring the ancestors. It was an occasion to thank the volunteers in our food rescue program who helped us feed those in need in the local community over the last two years. Collectively, we felt like our permaculture sanctuary was on the precipice of stepping up into a new level.

Then, less than 2 days later, the Buddha lesson of impermanence impacted us directly through fire. Thankfully, no one was hurt and our gardens and edible food forest are still in tact.

The inn is a community resource that offers welcoming and sacred hospitality for all, and it is the bread and butter that helps propel The Center for Regenerative Ecology, Education and Enterprise.

In order to continue our mission of regenerative permaculture and agroforestry, with the goal of creating healthy lives and a healthy planet, we are reaching out for assistance to help preserve our remaining assets through the winter. With your help, we will be able to come back stronger than ever, and continue to bring the community together in order to give back in bigger and better ways going forward.
