Bridging the Gap

On Sunday, January 14th, 2024, our cherished teacher, Suzanne Jenkins, and her two sons faced an unimaginable tragedy. A devastating house fire claimed their entire home and both vehicles, leaving them with not just material loss but also the heartache of countless cherished memories gone in an instant. Suzanne and her family are fortunately unharmed, including their beloved dog.

In times like these, our community has always rallied together with compassion and generosity. The Carteret County Public School Foundation has set up a fund to help bridge the gap in support of the Jenkins Family Fire Fund, offering a way for each of us to contribute to easing their recovery and rebuilding process.

🤝 **How You Can Help:**

1. Donate: Your contributions, regardless of size, will bridge the financial gap as Suzanne and her family embark on the journey of recovery.

2. Share:  the word! Share this fundraiser across your networks and social media. The more people who know, the more significant the impact we can make.

3. Messages of Support: Leave words of encouragement for Suzanne and her family. Your support goes beyond financial aid; it provides emotional strength during this trying time.

🌟 **Why Bridging the Gap Matters:**

- **Financial Relief:** Your donations will provide immediate financial relief, helping the Jenkins family cover essential needs and move forward.

- **Community Solidarity:** Our community is a pillar of strength, and by contributing, you affirm our commitment to standing together in times of adversity.

- **Empowering Recovery:** Your support will empower Suzanne and her family to navigate the initial steps towards recovery and rebuilding their lives.

🤲 **Making a Meaningful Impact:**

Thank you for embodying the true spirit of community. Together, we can bridge the gap and assist the Jenkins family as they take the first steps toward healing and rebuilding.
