Greetings and Aloha! For those of you who don't know us, we're Neill and Tanya Davis a.k.a "Gas Bikes Hawaii (GBH) " ; a husband- wife team of cycle drag racers on the Big Island of Hawai'i. We live  completely off-grid on the rural coast of Pahoa where we run our small metal shop "Iron Artisans". 

    Since 2020 our home away from home has been the Hilo dragstrip. Here we've had the opportunity to be the first and only racers in the world to drag race motorized bicycles in official IHRA sanctioned races. Over the past several seasons GBH has brought home over a dozen trophies, has the fastest quarter mile time on a motorized bike at 60 mph and has been featured in Hawaiian airlines in flight magazine "Hana Hou" June/July 2024 issue. As privateer grassroots racers we build and maintain our own bikes on a shoestring budget. As times have been tough for our family, we've taken jobs doing security and janitorial work at the track to help pay our racing expenses and are fortunate to have a sponsor,  Don's Speed Shop out of Oklahoma,  providing our team with quality engines and parts.  

    This 2024 season GBH has the incredible opportunity for the journey of a lifetime and a chance to make motorsports history. We've been invited to the Utah Saltflats Bonneville Speedway to take on the challenge of  setting the land speed record for a motorized bicycle. 

We've got the passion and skill, and we're asking for your support to help us get there!  All donations will go towards travel expenses, race fees and much needed upgrades to our safety gear. To show our appreciation and give back to our supporters we've got rewards ranging from custom stickers to hats and t-shirts following our event.
