Year-End Giving: Strengthen Our Cultural Arts Legacy

On July 9, 2025, Teatro De Artes De Juan Seguin proudly celebrated its 43rd anniversary. Over the years, we have remained steadfast in our mission to promote a deeper understanding of the Mexican American culture through the arts. As the only organization in Guadalupe County offering high-quality programs in Mexican American arts, culture, and history, we are deeply committed to making a lasting impact. At a time when arts funding continues to decline at the federal level, your support ensures that our cultural traditions, educational programs, and community-centered initiatives remain accessible to all. Our vibrant, community-based institution continues to thrive as a result of generous supporters like you, and we look forward to many more years of success, together.

As we approach the end of the year, we look forward to you helping us reach our end of year goal of raising $20,000 to provide scholarships for young people eager to participate in our Ballet Folklórico De La Rosa and Mariachi Juan Seguin programs but lacking the financial means to do so. Your contribution will help give these students the opportunity to engage in these enriching cultural programs, which are vital in preserving and promoting the Mexican American heritage.

In addition to scholarships, these funds will also support our continued efforts to bring high-quality multigenerational programming to our community. From performances by talented artists, musicians, and poets, to culinary and visual arts events, your donation will help us nurture the next generation of performers and artists across five key disciplines: Performing Arts, Visual Arts, Literary Arts, Culinary Arts, and Theatre Arts.

Finally, funds will also support general operations, ensuring we can continue our outreach efforts and bring even more cultural events and programs to Seguin—events that unite people from all over Texas and beyond to celebrate the Mexican American culture.
