• 80% of funds raised will support research efforts with an emphasis focused on women and lung cancer. 

• 20% of funds raised will support patient support services.

The majority of support will continue to benefit UPMC Hillman Cancer Center and the ongoing research of Dr. Laura Stabile. UPMC Hillman Cancer Center was critical to Elizabeth’s care and Libby’s Lungs will always continue to support their research and patient support efforts.

The board of directors may also make grants to other nationally recognized lung cancer organizations or top tier research facilitates if they believe funding from Libby’s Lungs will make a meaningful impact for the lung cancer community.
