Training Dogs For A Second Chance By People Living Their Second Chance.

An estimated 60% of formerly incarcerated individuals in the USA remain unemployed one year after their release.

Approximately 3.3 million dogs enter shelters every year, with only 1.6 million being adopted.

Dog's Train Home provides a unique solution to these interconnected issues by providing training to rescue dogs and using dog trainers who have previously been incarcerated and who have completed a prison dog training program.

Obedience training from an newly established trainers who have a prison dog training certificates.
Selected dog who will benefit from training to be rehomed.
If there is a forever home lined up - The adopter is to be involved in training to help the smooth transition into their forever home reducing the chance of the dog being surrendered.
If there is no home set up, the rescue agrees to continue all training taught until a forever home is found.
Two free training session will be provided with trainer and new owner after adoption to ensure smooth transition.
