Our Pioneer Science Olympiad MIT team has been stuck in Boston since Sunday due to winter storm Fern disruptions. The situation has been and continues to be fluid — we've had two flight cancellations thus far — but we are now scheduled to fly home on Wednesday at 9am.

Uncertainty is accumulating about our growing costs. The airline may provide limited reimbursements, but we cannot be certain until individual claims are filed. Nightly accommodations are roughly $100 per student/coach.
