Freeze Relief Fund: Keeping Our Unhoused Neighbors Warm
When temperatures drop in South Louisiana, cold becomes a life-threatening emergency for our unhoused neighbors.
Below Sea Level Aid is raising funds to provide warm clothing, cold-weather supplies, and emergency support during an upcoming freeze.
We are a volunteer-run, community-based mutual aid organization led by people with lived experience. When freezes hit, we mobilize quickly, meeting people where they are with supplies they actually need.
Your donation will help us distribute:
Warm coats, hoodies, and thermal layers
Socks, gloves, hats, and hand warmers
Blankets and sleeping bags
Emergency hygiene and harm reduction supplies
Hot food and drinks during outreach
Every dollar goes directly toward keeping our neighbors alive and safe during dangerous weather conditions.
💛 Mutual aid means we keep each other warm.
Donate, share, and help us show up for our community when it matters most.
