Your dollars support the Sugarloaf Alliance and our efforts to preserve the rural character of the greater Sugarloaf Mountain area in Frederick County, Maryland.

Currently, the Sugarloaf Alliance is leading the community education effort and participation in the county’s Sugarloaf Treasured Landscape Management Plan area-planning process. The Plan would protect woods, streams, agricultural acreage and important historical sites, such as as the Monocacy National Battlefield.

The Sugarloaf Alliance is an all-volunteer, 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Funds are used for typical business expenses (website, flyers, etc.), and for the legal expenses incurred when filing and following up with public information requests that help keep government decision-making transparent.
