Prototype x Sharpsburg Pop-Up

Prototype PGH is testing out a second location!

As a small, grass-roots organization, we need your help to make this possible! In September 2024, we are going to test out a second location with a 6 month pop-up in Sharpsburg. The location is small - 500 square feet - but it has a retail storefront, wheelchair accessible entrance, and is right on the 91 bus line.

What would the new space provide?

Our Sharpsburg location will provide an affordable co-working space from 8am-8pm every day, a space to host member-led workshops, and some makerspace equipment such as a 3D printer, sewing machine, arduinos, CNC vinyl cutter, and screen printing. Member-led workshops will happen weeknights and weekends.

Want to join as a member?

Sign up for the membership level that is accessible to you via the Monthly recurring donation option on Givebutter. Members will have access to the space via keypad entry starting September 15. Membership will not include access to our Oakland location.

Want to make a donation?

We are also fundraising to cover the cost of purchasing additional furniture and makerspace equipment such as CNC machines and workshop supplies. Please donate to our equipment fundraiser via the "One-time" donation option on Givebutter. To donate physical items, send a photo and description to [email protected]
